Loch Ness, Black-Isle Peninsula, Moray Firth, West Coast, Gairloch, Applecross, Ullapool, Inverness, Dornoch, Nairn, Aviemore, Cairngorm National Park, John O'Groats, Thurso, Cape Wrath, Isle of Skye - some of these places are a day trip and are well worth making the effort to visit but if you just want to relax and do very little then our cottages are cosy and comfortable enough to enable you to do just that.
Local amenities include cafes, museum, restaurants, gift and craft shops, a pharmacy, Post Office, a small supermarket and a small deli. There's the Eaglestone, an ancient carved Pictish Stone and some wonderful Victorian architecture to enjoy.
With loads of forest walks locally, an 18 hole golf course (hilly), plenty of cycling both on and off road, fishing and 'The Ben' (Ben Wyvis is just over 3000') to climb you will not be short of something to do.
